Das Gerücht kursierte schon ein Weile, aber nun ist es offiziell:
Panasonic bzw. der Mutterkonzern Matsuhita will nächstes Jahr eine
Spiegelreflex mit Four-Thirds-Anschluss auf den Markt bringen:
"Matsushita, buoyed by the success of its DMC-FX7 compact camera with
optical wobble-correction mechanism, plans to ship single-lens reflex
(SLR) digital cameras with interchangeable lenses in 2006. The cameras
will comply with the "four thirds system" mounting standard pushed by
Olympus Optical Co, Ltd of Japan, and the firms will jointly develop

Da auch Leica zur Firmengruppe gehört, hoffen manche mittelfristig
zumindest auf Leitz-Objektive für Four Thirds, wenn nicht sogar auf
Leica-Kameras. Die neue soll jedenfalls als Flagschiff des Konzerns
positioniert werden. Besonders interessant klingt, dass sie nach diesen
Ausführungen mit Bildstabilisator ausgerüstet sein dürfte.
